Little P's Robin's Nest

When Black. White. Yellow. featured this amazing nursery from Ohdeedoh, I knew I'd have to share it with you guys (and that I'd also be bookmarking it for future reference). I was excited to discover that the nursery was created by an adorable mom-to-be named Megan who has 2 blogs, Megan Creates and Me and Wee, in addition to an Etsy store. Busy bee! I just love the cheery color combo she used here for her baby-on-the-way Little P. The wall color is Benjamin Moore #618 Robin's Nest, and it looks perfect next to all the pretty yellow. Aren't the wicker elephant hamper and the "hooray" banner just the cutest things ever?!

Beautiful Bedrooms

Aren't these 2 bedrooms just so lovely? The soft blue color palette is so peaceful and calming. I love the headboard in the first image, along with the stool and the cute little window seat. LOVE the bed in the 2nd image, and the gorgeous bedding! All this is making me want to take a nap! Images via Homes and Gardens and House Beautiful.

St Stephens

Happy Friday everyone! :) A few days ago one of my favorite blogs Delikatissen featured images from St Stephens, this amazing location represented by Tattersall Love. I love how all of the fabulous color just pops out against the white background. I think my favorite thing is the painted runners on the stairways though. Just lovely!

A Welcome Sight

Simplygrove had this gorgeous image on her blog yesterday. I adore the tufted bench...all the detailing, and the color is just so pretty. I wouldn't think to put it with an aqua color, but it looks so good. I don't know about that kitten print though....kinda freaks me out!

Stillness

This lovely bedroom was included in a collection of images that Desire to Inspire featured yesterday of new work done by stylist Karina Garrick. I love the simplicity of this bedroom, the beautiful furniture and all the pretty colors used. The picture feels so still and quiet to me. I love that (especially in a bedroom).

More from Diamond Baratta

Oooh was I ever so excited to find more pictures of the bright kitchen I posted last week (AND the rest of the home!) designed by Diamond Baratta. I think it's safe to say the family living here is NOT the least bit afraid of color. But that kitchen remains my favorite, especially after seeing more pictures of it! View more pictures of the home and read all about it at House Beautiful. I hope everyone has a fantastic Spring weekend!

Red and Turquoise Guest Rooms

I'm such a huge fan of red and turquoise, so obviously I'm gonna love these fabulous guest rooms. I LOVE the fabric on the benches and lovely bedskirts in the first two images. And I'm dying to have a black and white rug like the one in the last image. Aside from the colors, the whole symmetry of these rooms is really appealing to me as well. Anna French

I had an absolute ball looking through the website of Anna French wallpaper and fabric. If you've yet to check it out, you MUST. It is all so droolworthy! The new collection Wild Flora - "where traditional designs delightfully mingle with modern twists" - is stunning.

the Nines

My heart went pitter-patter when I discovered the Nines, a new luxury hotel that opened in the fall above Macy's in the old Meier & Frank building in downtown Portland, Oregon. The Nines' design themes came from SERA Architects of Portland and interior designer ForrestPerkins. The gorgeous rooms use a turquoise called Sonoma sky and an espresso brown. What's especially cool is that the hotel is as eco-friendly as they come. According to a press-release:
Eco-consciousness has been a key element to the development of the Nines, which anticipates LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. To achieve this prestigious designation, conservation-focused plumbing, including low-flow faucets, have been put in place in order to save 400,000 gallons of water each year. All products used in daily housekeeping are “Green Sealed,” and the hotel retains 50 percent of its energy from renewable sources including wind power and carbon offsets. Low-emitting adhesives, sealants, paints and carpets were used during the renovation to secure optimum air quality. Throughout the building process, 24 million pounds of material was removed and 90 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfills for reuse or recycling. -Source

Dreamy Bath

Isn't this bath from Coastal Living just a dream?! One day I'm going to have a tub just like this...soak away all the blues (the bad ones, not the good ones)! Love the windows, the cozy chair and bench. What a perfect bath!

Debra Geller

I instantly fell in love with this home designed by Debra Geller and featured in Westchester Cottages & Gardens when I saw it on My Notting Hill. I love how the colors in the "Cool Wave" mural by artist Charles Wildbank perfectly complement the room. Lime with aqua has always been one of my favorites!! The light-filled blue kitchen is a dream too. Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Beside the Point

I know I just got home from vacation, but after seeing images in Coastal Living of the seaside rental cottage "Beside the Point" in Harbour Island, I immediately wanted to pack my bags again and head to the Bahamas (who am I kidding though, I haven't unpacked yet...!). I did a little search to find more images...this coastal cottage is way too cute! (Images via Coastal Living, John McCardy Architect and Island Real Estate).
