Ocean, Sky, Trees & Grass

We love the colors of Spring and Summer with our trips to the shore and wanted our family room to have the same cheerfulness those seasons encapture, all year long. The blue reminds us of the ocean and sky and green of trees and grass.

Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein

Inspired by a Roy Lichtenstein painting, the flat, clean colors of this living room are outlined with electrical tape to capture the crisp, cartoonish effect of the artist's 1990s "Interiors" series.

Cottage Cozy

Wood paneling, checkerboard tile, and a painted tub lend this bathroom a cottage aesthetic. On the side table, gingham fabric and a vase of fresh flowers make the space feel cozy.

Refreshing and a Bit Modern

The living room has also been our favorite spot to unwind, so we wanted it to feel refreshing and a bit modern, while still playing up its vintage appeal. We went with a soothing sea foam green for the walls, mixed with neutral, cool colors for the modern furniture. Little splashes of personality like our yellow 60's lamp, sofa pillows, and antique paisley-shaped coffee table give the place a quirky, inviting touch.

Urban Oasis

I wanted this apartment to feel both playful and soothing, and for everyone who enters to feel the same. Color energizes me, inspires me, and helps me create a space that's says "me".

Hotel Fox

Hotel Fox in in central Copenhagen contains 61 room, each an individual piece of art designed by 21 international artists from the fields of graphic design, urban art and illustration.

Called „Spring Grove“, this room is designed to evoke spring fever: It is playful, exotic and enticing, setting the stage for a flowery and paradisiac place for lovers and young hearts. The style is best described with neo-romantic, but in Ankes application of it, it becomes an even younger, fresher edge. Designed by Anke Vera Zink.

Space. Amadori is currently very interested in myths, legends, and mystical symbols and wanted to create magical rooms (in the traditional sense) full of life and a rich diversity: “You are invited to spend a night at the King's Court. The King and Queen have gathered their magicians, jesters, fortune-tellers and other mystical courtiers to greet you. Blue represents the King's Court and is associated with trust, loyalty and honesty. Also it is the colour of the sky and the deep sea, which suggest infinite freedom.” Designed by Birgit Amadori.

Three Tranquil Bathrooms

In this bathroom, a monitor roof floods the space with daylight without sacrificing privacy. Tub and backsplash tiles are a random pattern of four different glass tiles with matte or glossy glazes.
The blue-green wall color of this master bathroom soothes and refreshes.
Designer Eric Prokesh kept his master bathroom clean and crisp with a white color palette. The claw-foot tub speaks of understated elegance. Marble backsplash tiles and nickel-finish fixtures add layers of subtle texture.
