My favorite part of visiting ABC Carpet and Home while in NYC was definitely staring up at all their stunning chandeliers. I'd never seen so many droolworthy ones in all my life! I knew right then and there I'd die a happy woman if I ever have one dangling in my home! Aren't these just something else?? Seriously my photos don't even do them any amount of justice. The first one below is my favorite. One day it WILL be mine! :)

I've always loved the work of Miles Redd, and this fact was only reinforced when I ran across this room on Style Court belonging to Chassie Post, pulled from the March 2001 issue of House Beautiful. The peonies...oh the peonies. The zebra rug. The white floors. The slipcovers. The blue walls! If I could snap my fingers and live in this home, I would in a second. L.O.V.E.

My New Shower Curtain!

I hope everyone had a blessed holiday! Mine was top-ten, great in every way. Nothing beats spending time with family and friends. Mine were extra giving this year...I was fortunate enough to receive a turquoise flannel shirt, turquoise Converse sneakers, several beautiful pieces of turquoise jewelry, a cool turquoise clutch, a super cozy turquoise scarf, turquoise cookware and utensils...and this fab Marimekko Lehtimaja shower curtain I've been lusting over forever! I live in an apartment, so a cute shower curtain makes all the difference in my tiny generic bathroom! (Not that I'm complaining about that aqua blue tile!)

Merry Christmas!

If I could give you guys a little virtual Christmas present, this delicious eye-candy compliments of Valorie of the Visual Vamp would be it. Her Holly Golightly Christmas tree is my all-time favorite...I could stare at it all day long. Isn't it the most magical tree?? (And seriously who could resist a tree with that many Tiffany boxes piled under it?!) Christmas Eve is finally here! This final compilation of all my favorite images has really made me excited for all of the fast-approaching holiday festivities. It's going to be a great Christmas here, full of friends and family...I'm so incredibly excited. We're even supposed to be getting a ton of snow!
