One Kings Lane Giveaway

This dreamy bedroom is as beautiful and romantic as they come! Located in a luxury apartment in downtown Barcelona, the light-filled room is spacious, comfortable and filled with wonderful details. The room itself is incredible–I love the curved wall of windows, not to mention the original glass doors and parquet flooring. And hello, a private terrace?! *Sigh* Then there's the romantic four poster bed, covered in colorful and comfy bedding from Designers Guild. (Curtains are also from Designers Guild, love those too!) So much to love, so much to love! You can see more photos of the beautiful room at El Mueble (just click on Galeria)!

I'm super excited for today's giveaway courtesy of one of my favorite websites! If you're not already familiar with them, One Kings Lane is a curated online sales site that offers their members (free to join!) a fab selection of top-brand and designer home decor items at prices up to 70% off. Every day of the week they come up with new sales, all that last only 72 hours. It's actually somewhat addictive, I'm constantly checking their site to see what's new! And now they have this "downstairs" section with even better clearance deals! The winner of the giveaway will receive a $100 gift certificate to One Kings Lane, with lots of turquoise to choose from right now! Here are some of my favorites:

To enter:
  1. Visit One Kings Lane (it's free to join, if you haven't already!), find your favorite thing, then come back here and leave a comment telling us what is it. (Be sure to leave your email address if you comment anonymously so I can contact you if you're the winner!)
  2. For an extra entry, "Like" One Kings Lane on Facebook, then come back here and leave a separate comment saying that you did!
  3. Winner will be randomly selected and announced this Friday, 10/12/12.

This giveaway is now closed!

The Pirates' House + Giveaway Winners!

Imagine my delight when we happened upon this incredible old building!! Located in downtown Savannah, The Pirates' House is a historic restaurant and tavern established in 1753. (Had we not just eaten a yummy lunch at Paula Deen's restaurant, you can bet I would have stepped inside for a bite!) The historic building is located a block from the Savannah River and was built as an inn for visiting seamen. According to their website, the Inn became "a rendezvous of blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their fiery grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their adventures from Singapore to Shanghai and from San Francisco to Port Said." So cool! Has anyone ever dined here?? Their menu looks just as delicious as those turquoise shutters!!

I know you're all dying to know the lucky winners of the LoveFeast Table giveaway!

John Oetgen

I'll take a dose of fresh mountain air any day! It surprised me to learn that a pair of aquamarine lamps inspired the color palette of this beautiful mountain home by Atlanta designer John Oetgen. The color is more obvious in the bedroom (painted Palladian Blue) and dining room, but I love how it's used in the living room as well! Compared to the dark-paneled rooms, I just love how open and airy the bedroom feels...I think that's where I would spend all my time! That, or the covered porch! You gotta check out more photos by Mali Azima of the rest of the home and the breathtaking view, just head over to Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles

Turquoise in the Lowcountry

Talk about curb appeal! Here is your first installment of vacation pics! The Lowcountry between Charleston and Savannah is filled with some of the prettiest homes I've ever seen! The cutest front porches and piazzas with their Haint Blue ceilings, the biggest live oaks and pretty palmetto palm trees that seem to perfectly frame every home, and so much history to go along with the architecture...it was easy to imagine what life must have been like so long ago! Above were some of my favorite homes in Charleston, Beaufort, Palmetto Bluff and Savannah–click on those to learn more about each place! I still have lots more photos to share, but I hope you enjoyed seeing these homes as much as I did!

**I want to give big thank you to my photo-assistant/driver/cute husband Chris who helped me take all of these pics! How many times I said "Stop! Hold on! I have to take picture!" I'm blessed with a very patient and supportive partner! :)

I also have an exciting update on this week's Plush Pumpkin giveaway! The generous LoveFeast Table girls want to make the giveaway even better! There will now be TWO winners! In addition to someone winning the turquoise pumpkin trio, another House of Turquoise reader will win this adorable Large Plush Acorn Nest in Turquoise! So be sure to enter the giveaway right here if you haven't already! Thanks LoveFeast Table!!

James Radin

  \

Yesterday we saw a quick peek into an amazing beach home designed by James Radin, the LA-based designer who, in addition to some pretty incredible homes, has also worked on several film sets we all love: Something’s Gotta Give, The Holiday and It’s Complicated. I just adore this Broad Beach home he designed! Definitely has that relaxed, inviting beach house vibe that I'm constantly drawn to. Did you see the kitchen?! I wish there was another photo of it so we could really get our drool on! The dining room is great too, love those chairs slipcovered in the whimsical Clarence House fabric! Finish your tour of the great space right over here!

I'm super excited to share some of my vacation pics with you guys, but my computer is not exactly cooperating with me right now! Apparently my new camera and old computer aren't exactly the best of friends! But expect some fun posts on it soon!

Velvet Plush Pumpkins Giveaway!

Oh my goodness, my turquoise-loving heart is soaking up every inch of this room! The fabulous space photographed by Annie Schlechter featured in the September issue of Coastal Living was designed by James Radin, the same designer who also happened to contribute to the decor of everyone's favorite Something's Gotta Give. I just love how the otherwise neutral palette is brought to life with pops of turquoise. Matthew Gleason did a terrific job styling the shot! I'd move right in in a heartbeat!

I have a special giveaway today that will make a great pop of color on YOUR fall table! The lovely LoveFeast Table ladies are at it again this year with their scrumptious velvet plush pumpkins!! Just like real pumpkins, these beautiful velvet creations are unique by virtue of their stems. Each one is handmade with a real pumpkin, gourd or squash stem attached. And as you can see, they come in incredible colors and an array of sizes! The winner of this week's giveaway will receive a Velvet Plush Pumpkin Turquoise Trio Set! LOVE it!

To Enter:
  1. Visit the LoveFeast Shop and report back here with a comment telling us what you love most! (Be sure to leave your email address if you're commenting anonymously!)
  2. For an extra entry, "like" LoveFeast Table on Facebook, then leave a separate comment saying you did just that!
  3. Winner will be randomly selected and announced this Friday, October 5th.

This giveaway is now closed!
