Beach Glass Designs

Sometimes showhouse rooms can be a little over the top, but this guest bedroom designed by Jackie Higgins of Beach Glass Designs (photographed by Marco Ricca) for the “Home Is Where the Heart Is" Designer Showhouse in Glen Cove, New York is refined, comfortable and serene. I love the balance between the turquoise and soft neutrals, the chic furniture and the fab window coverings! I'm always a fan of ocean-inspired accessories too! Skip Sroka

I love peeking into interior designers' own homes, and this glimpse into the home of Washington, D.C. designer Skip Sroka of Sroka Design Inc. did not disappoint! I know I can't be alone here...those kitchen shelves?? Love at first sight! The colorful pottery collection looks stunning against the blue background (Benjamin Moore's "Harbor Haze")! J. Hirsch Interior Design + Layla Grayce Giveaway!

Just a glimpse into this absolutely gorgeous bedroom makes me swoon! Designed by interior designer Janie Hirsch out of Johns Creek, Georgia, the dreamy space is sophisticated and timeless, with a soft and soothing color palette I could surround myself in forever. So much to love, but the dramatic headboard and beautiful fabrics are my favorite! I also love that she chose to use chandelier instead of a traditional bedside lamp! Grace Blu Designs

No doubt about it–this room is chic! The fabulous space was designed by Rona Graf and Stephanie Fryer of Grace Blu Designs out of Costa Mesa, California. The gold and teal is a stunning combination, but when you add the bits of red it just takes it to another level! LOVE that wall with the gorgeous Schumacher wallpaper (Brushed Strie 529953 in Teal) and how the colors in the beautiful rug just tie the whole room together! Meredith Bohn Interior Design

Showhouses are always so inspiring! Meredith Bohn, an interior designer out of Hollis, New Hampshire, designed this elegant master bedroom and bathroom from the 2012 York Historical Society Designer Showhouse and it's filled with great ideas, all captured beautifully by photographer Greg West. I love how she used the Farrow & Ball "Silvergate" wallpaper throughout the space, but created panels to improve the proportion of the room–and make it more accessible! The paint colors are serene and beautiful, and look fabulous with the gold! And of course, I am loving the subtle coastal touches, perfect for the home's location in Maine! It doesn't get more glam than teal and gold! Edyta Czajkowska of the Chicago-based interior design studio EDYTA & CO. created this fabulous space for a client who was downsizing into a Chicago highrise rental apartment from another state. She had a great collection of artwork and lots of neutral pieces, but wanted a home with some impact. I love the bold wall color Edyta chose for the walls (Sherwin Williams SW0018 Teal Stencil)...talk about impact–especially with those gorgeous window treatments! Love the fabric on those pillows too! Lilly Bunn Weekes

When I saw the cover of the new issue of Lonny, I knew I was in for a treat! One of my favorite features was of this Upper East Side apartment designed by Lilly Bunn Weekes, photographed here by Patrick Cline. The homeowners wanted a crisp and fresh look, but with a comfortable, usable vibe where they could relax...and also where their kids could play. I just love the bathroom with Hinson & Company's Spatter wallpaper! Looks fabulous with the red lampshades! And how about the peacock blue lacquered walls and gold ceiling in the foyer! So dramatic!
