Van Wicklen Design

Interior designer Jeanette Forney Van Wicklen has done it yet again with this beautiful Austin, Texas home! I love how she infused the soothing neutral color palette with subtle shades of blue all throughout the home. It's warm and inviting, with a touch of the coast thrown in for good measure! I could live forever in that master bathroom (painted Sherwin-Williams Rainwashed, one of my favorites)! Sand & Sisal

Laundry rooms aren't usually the first spaces to get decorated, but I feel like we ALL love and appreciate a pretty laundry room! Kim Wilson of Sand & Sisal decided that since she had to spend so much of her time doing laundry ("with two messy teen girls, two dirty, sweaty, little boys, a hubs who never unrolls his gym socks!" Ha!!), then her laundry room had to at least be beautiful! She did a stellar job on the makeover, don't you think?? She used one of my favorite paint colors on the walls–"Rainwashed" by Sherwin Williams. I especially love it next to the fresh white beadboard ceiling and crown molding that they installed. How on earth did we deserve this treat?! A million thank you's to Camille Roskelley for allowing us into her beautiful home! If you didn't notice she and I share a love of the same color (and Sherwin William's Rainwashed), however this girl has some serious talent for decorating!! Trust me, click here and see what this home looked like only 7 months ago when her family moved in! That's a serious knack! To top it all off, most of what you see is is from Home Goods, Target, and furniture outlets! Camille isn't even an interior designer, she's actually a fabric and quilt designer (and an awesome one at that, check out her blog Simplify or her first book Simplify With Camille Roskelley: Quilts for the Modern Home!) I could eat up these photos all day, there's so much inspiration here.
