Who can resist a cute California cottage?! Interior designer Charmean Neithart out of Pasadena gave the homeowners of this 1700 sq foot home photographed here by Erika Bierman exactly what they wanted: a beachy vibe while making the most of their limited space. Such a lovely mix of natural texture, color and pattern! Seriously, how cool is that fireplace?! And I've never met a turquoise door that I didn't love! (This one is painted Florida Keys 2050-40 by Benjamin Moore.) There's more to see of the home, so head here next!

Interior designer Donna Grimes, owner of Serenity Design out of Long Beach Island, New Jersey used an array of beachy blues in this stunning home photographed by John Martinelli! In fact every room has something blue, something natural or something time-honored to reflect the surroundings and the owner's love of coastal design. Armonia Decors + Toujours Magazine

It's old news around here that I'm a big fan of Emily Ruddo of Armonia Decors, but did you know she is also the design editor for Toujours Magazine? Along with co-founder and photographer Meghan Beierle-O'Brien, Emily spent the weekend sprucing up her fabulous LA apartment (we've seen and loved here!) for the Toujour Magazine Holiday Decorating Guide. I absolutely adore her coastal Christmas mantle! If there's one project on the top of our list, it's to tile our living room fireplace. There's not a prettier focal point than glistening, sparkling glass tile all lit up by fire. Oh wait! If the tile is turquoise, then it's prettier! ;)

Beautiful and Beachy Nantucket Home

When Daniella of Dress, Design & Decor featured the lovely bathroom above, I had to head to New England Home to see more! I'm so glad I did, because I fell hard for this Nantucket home styled by Stacy Kunstel and photographed by Michael Partenio. I'm not at all surprised that the Midwestern couple who live here bought it sight unseen. I love how they transformed it with the beachy palette reminiscent of Nantucket. I also thought it was cute that the husband had only one request—the antique chestnut floors that run throughout the house. They certainly are beautiful!
