I just love these easy breezy rooms with their sand and sky colors and comfy furniture. I am absolutely smitten with the club chairs in the last photo with that great suzani fabric. Fiddlehead Design Group

A lot style, a lot of function...that's my kind of kitchen. This one designed by Andrea Dixon and Jen Ziemer of Fiddlehead Design Group out of Minneapolis has all that covered and more! The owners of this early twentieth century Victorian home wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home, while adding more storage and better workflow in their kitchen. I love how the designers mixed contemporary elements, like the fab back-painted glass backsplash, with all the traditional elements. And did you see the built-in coffee center?? Lucky ducks! Cecilies Lykke

I could literally spend all day reading Scandinavian blogs, hopping endlessly from one to another. Yesterday I discovered the dreamy gem Cecilies Lykke, where the Norwegian blogger Cecilie fed my soul with her beautiful, enchanting photography. I adore her home filled with pretty pastels and soothing whites (in true Scandinavian style!) Her charming bedroom above is a finalist in the "Summer Paradise" challenge over at NIB. Love the original turquoise wallpaper, breezy sheer curtains and colorful glass bottles catching the summer light. Paradise indeed! Visit here for more!

Ingrid Fretheim Interiors

I'm battling some sort of bug today, but I couldn't help but share this stunning sunroom designed by Ingrid Fretheim Interiors and photographed by Emily Minton Redfield that graces the recent cover of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles. Just looking at it instantly perked me up and made my happy! The focal point is obviously the brilliant Matti Berglund painting commissioned by the homeowner. Love all that color! Tracy Rivers

If only every granddaughter could be so lucky!! Can you imagine the fun designer and artist Tracy Rivers of Little Rock's Angelfish Studios must have had when creating this luxury retreat for a 7-year old girl? Since it's not an everyday room for her, her grandparents wanted the space to be over the top, where she can be inspired during her visits. The walls are incredible here...hand-troweled Venetian plaster with a sparkly scroll design painted on the walls. And talk about shimmer, the tiles on the floor in the bathroom and miniature tiles in the shower are pearlescent with glitter grout. Glitter grout! Bonesteel Trout Hall

There's something to be said about the clean, earthy, colorful textures of the coast. In my book, no one interprets it better than the design firm Bonesteel Trout Hall, whose style epitomizes the laid back glamour of the California lifestyle. I absolutely adore their serene rooms filled with watery blues and greens. But just how fun are the rooms with more punchy color?? I'm loving every.single.photo! With the talent of Boston-based architect James Cullion and interior designer Eileen Marcuvitz, this Newport, Rhode Island home photographed by Robert Benson was inspired by a majestic oak tree and built to take full advantage of the home’s breathtaking water views. They used a palette of misty blues with hints of sea and sky to bring the outside inside. I love the symmetry in the home and the use of arches throughout...especially the front entrance outside.
