Closet Full of Smiles

One of my worst habits is keeping the closets in my bedroom open. I just like taking a peek when I walk by...all the color and patterns make me happy. Similarly, I was always fond of this quote from Carrie in Sex in the City: "I like my money right where I can see it: hanging in my closet." Anyway, I don't think I would EVER shut my closet doors if they looked like these from Domino that Something to See, Something to Love shared a while back. But if I did, every time I opened them I'd smile.

My Dream Vacation Home

I almost drooled all over my June issue of Coastal Living when I landed on the article "New House Old Soul" showcasing a vacation home in Georgia designed by Jane Coslick. Gosh I love Jane. We're getting pretty close to perfection here people. I think this could easily be my dream vacation home. I see these images and I wonder why in the heck I live in Minnesota. "The Land of 10,000 Lakes" just doesn't seem to cut it!

Always a Blue Sky

I cannot handle how beautiful this room is!! Danika of the blog Gorgeous Shiny Things included it in her post about Canadian House & Home. Summer Feelin'

Here's another home designed by Amanda Nisbet. I love how the bits and pieces of color just pop out against the pretty neutral background in this coastal-inspired home. The shelves are really cool too. What a great way to show off a collection.

My GoogleReader stopped dead in its tracks yesterday when I laid my eyes on Desire to Inspire's post about New York interior designer Amanda Nisbet. I cannot tell you how much I love this home! (I think I actually love every single room in her portfolio, but I'm gonna save some of the others to post later.) The orange and yellow paired with the turquoise looks just fabulous I think. I don't know how you could be unhappy living here!

Turquoise Teen Room

Any teenage girl I know would love to call this room from BHG their own. Who am I kidding...I'D love to call this room my own! It's so cheery and fun. I just love the pink and turquoise, and that hand-painted tree is so cute!

Simply Pretty

When I saw this lovely image that Mujer imperfecta posted on her blog La chica del solitario, I knew I'd have to share it with you guys. The crocheted quilt is so beautiful, especially with the orange peeking through. I just love the orange paired with the aqua...so refreshing. What a beautiful space!
