Beach Glass Designs

Sometimes showhouse rooms can be a little over the top, but this guest bedroom designed by Jackie Higgins of Beach Glass Designs (photographed by Marco Ricca) for the “Home Is Where the Heart Is" Designer Showhouse in Glen Cove, New York is refined, comfortable and serene. I love the balance between the turquoise and soft neutrals, the chic furniture and the fab window coverings! I'm always a fan of ocean-inspired accessories too! Kriste Michelini Interiors

What a dreamy little space! San Francisco Bay Area interior designer Kriste Michelini created this cozy, light-filled "writer's retreat" on the third floor of the 2013 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, photographed here by David Duncan Livingston and Roberto Tiscareno. I can't think of a more perfect place to hide out to write or settle in with a good book! The turquoise chaise is absolutely fabulous! And I love the colorful Brit Pop Wallpaper by Elitis behind the comfy mound of fun pillows! My country-loving Iowa roots are in love with this home! Corynne Pless, a talented photographer and artist out of Athens, Georgia beautifully captured this wonderfully eclectic farmhouse in Birmingham. The colorful and rustic kitchen is my absolute favorite–those walls and yellow appliances are out of this world! The living room is pretty incredible too...I can only imagine how lovely it is with the garage door wide open, breeze flowing and the noises of the country streaming in! Charmean Neithart Interiors

Who can resist a cute California cottage?! Interior designer Charmean Neithart out of Pasadena gave the homeowners of this 1700 sq foot home photographed here by Erika Bierman exactly what they wanted: a beachy vibe while making the most of their limited space. Such a lovely mix of natural texture, color and pattern! Seriously, how cool is that fireplace?! And I've never met a turquoise door that I didn't love! (This one is painted Florida Keys 2050-40 by Benjamin Moore.) There's more to see of the home, so head here next!

Can you even believe these rooms?!! I can't handle it! The fabulous spaces are all part of the portfolio of Tracy Hardenburg, an incredible interior designer out of Dallas. Talk about fresh and fun designs with a great mix of color and pattern, not to mention awesome lighting, great furniture, floor coverings, wallpaper...seriously, I could go on and on!
