Skip Sroka

I love peeking into interior designers' own homes, and this glimpse into the home of Washington, D.C. designer Skip Sroka of Sroka Design Inc. did not disappoint! I know I can't be alone here...those kitchen shelves?? Love at first sight! The colorful pottery collection looks stunning against the blue background (Benjamin Moore's "Harbor Haze")! Whitney Cutler

I could live in these photos! Whitney Cutler of Morrison Fairfax Interiors, a design firm located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, created a beach beauty in blue and white! The color palette is not my only favorite thing, I also love the natural fiber (and durable!) rugs everywhere, beautiful fabrics (China Seas Nitik II and Quadrille Henriot Floral in the bedroom...yum!) and all those pretty painted shelves! Oh and the fab banquette and the Natural Curiosities octopus artwork in the entry! Really I could go on and on, but there's more to see of the home...so head here next!

Liz Levin Interiors

I love how the bursts of color flow seamlessly through this Maryland home designed by Liz Levin Interiors! Not only are the spaces warm, welcoming and family-friendly (fabric that resist spills is always good!), but super-stylish as well! I especially love the large built-in bookcase she painted a pretty peacock color and the great mix of chairs in dining room! You can see 'before' pics of the space and read more about it here! Good Interiors + Stella & Dot Giveaway!

I would have never guessed it, but this space you're seeing here was actually built as a church in 1898! Boston interior designer Lisey Good of Good Interiors worked with Steven Young Architect + Fine Homebuilder on renovating the dilapidated space. And work they did...when they got their hands on it there were no floors, only exterior walls! Now it's four stories tall, and includes this 3,600 sq ft condo with 10 ft ceilings and so much light! I love the continuity from the pops of blue in all the rooms. If I was ever shy to paint my shelves turquoise, I'd be convinced now...it looks great here! The Glamorous Housewife Bethany Herwegh

There's so much love and life in this Manhattan Beach bungalow photographed by Victoria Pearson featured in the new Country Living. The home was designed by architect Lewin Wertheimer and brought to life by the homeowners Chip and Bethany Herwegh. (He's a prop-maker, she's a costume designer–how cool is that?) You might know Bethany from her delightful blog The Glamorous Housewife. She's been a faithful reader of mine for many years, and I'm truly honored to know she frequently referred to my blog when decorating their fabulous home. The turquoise hutch may be my favorite thing here...I love the mirrored glass! The kids rooms are super fun too. I love all the thoughtful details...you know they are having a blast there! If these images take you away to somewhere warm and sunny, that's because the designer, Allison Elebash, is based out of St. Kitts in the West Indies! She's known for uncluttered, airy spaces with accents of fun color, all of which I'm loving in her portfolio! Isn't that first image particularly stunning?? Cottage Modern Nursery

My oh my, is this nursery adorable or what?! Interior designer (and fellow Minneapolis dweller) Kristen of Cottage Modern wanted a bright, fresh space for her brand new baby Tate. She chose the aqua and orange color palette to go along with all the crisp white, with whimsical touches everywhere you look! I love the cute map letters she made, the ottoman pouf from etsy shop aletafae and all of the cute nautical touches (we need more of that in Minnesota!) Last but definitely not least, I am just loving the fab built-ins she painted Sherwin Williams Meander Blue to offset all the bright accessories! (The rest of the room is Restoration Hardware's Pale Silver, above the board and batten paneling.)
