Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Aside from a couple mums, we never got around to decorating our front door this fall (a new baby will do that!), but I've been loving what I've been seeing around the blogosphere and Pinterest....especially this front porch from The Wood Grain Cottage! Shayna went all out with her decorating, which was inspired by the great outdoors and cozy fall elements. I have to admit though, it was her door painted Wythe Blue by Benjamin Moore that first got my attention! Love it with the orange! You guys have to see inside Shayna's home, it's beautiful. Don't you just love fall?! Turquoise isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind with autumn decorating, usually it's warm colors galore, but I think a little thrown into the mix looks awesome! (Red-orange tones are complementary to turquoise on the color wheel, so I know it's not just me!) Whether it's simply adding some pumpkins outside your turquoise door or bringing in some orange throw pillows, you can see there are lots of great ways to incorporate our favorite color!

My favorite way??? Turquoise velvet plush pumpkins! Lucky for us, the ladies from LoveFeast Table are back again this year with a fabulous giveaway! A room as sweet as they come, for the sweetest day of the year! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! This super-cute space was designed by Kristin Peake, an interior designer out of Rockville, Maryland. What girl would not be in total heaven here?! LOVE the color palette, LOVE the wall art, LOVE all the furniture, LOVE that fun feather light fixture! Oh and I LOVE the wall color too, Benjamin Moore In Your Eyes! Did you notice the collection of chic shopping bags as wall art? And the bubblegum-filled lamps?? Such great ideas! Christmas Eve with The Visual Vamp

Without fail, Valorie Hart of The Visual Vamp wowed me with her Christmas decorations again this year! I wondered if she was going to pull out her oh-so-fabulous collection of Tiffany boxes to put under her tree again, but alas, it turns out they are missing! (SO sad!!) As much as I miss the old boxes, I'm absolutely loving what she did this year, photographed here by Sara Essex Bradley. So shimmery and festive! My favorite blog to turn to around the holidays is hands down Centsational Girl. I'm telling you, Kate knows how to deck her halls with blue–and in such an inspiring way! Words cannot even express how much I love this year's decorations. From the sparkling ornament garland to the drop dead gorgeous tree...I adore it all!
