Urban Gypsy Design

Just how awesome is this bathroom belonging to San Francisco interior designer Blythe Friedmann of Urban Gypsy Design?? I love all the vintage touches! That neat old bathroom door with the "bath" sign on it is the cutest thing I've seen all day. And I'm really digging the row of mirrored cabinets. Blythe also designed the above restaurant called Weird Fish in San Francisco. Has anyone been there? It has such a cool vibe to it! Cool Cabana

I love how this image evokes summertime like nothing else! Designed by Robert Passal, the room is actually the interior of a cabana from a Bergen County, NJ home. (You can see the rest of it here, it's a beautiful home!) I can just imagine coming in here to cool off, grabbing a nice cold beverage, and having a little chat with that cute dog! (Don't you love interior shots with animals?!)

Brooke Steuart

When I spotted this vacation home belonging to designer Brooke Steuart on the blog Low Tide High Style, it was the turquoise island that immediately caught my attention. After that initial shock passed, I noticed so many other details that make this a true dream kitchen. Love the bursts of orange and turquoise accessories, the glass tile on the backsplash and stairs, the collection of shells displayed in the island...not to mention the Viking appliances! Jamie Drake

Can you tell that Jamie Drake designed this incredible foyer featured in Connecticut Cottage and Gardens? It's so full of energy and vibrant color, I wasn't surprised at all. I think my two favorite features are the gorgeous grasscloth wallcovering from Phillip Jeffries and the striped stair runner by Tai Ping that you can barely see in the corner. Turquoise and yellow...I can never get enough!

The Cottage Co.

When I saw this dining room on the lovely new blog Carriage House Antiques, I knew I'd seen it before on a photographer's website. You just don't forget something that charming! (I featured it here last summer.) So I was excited to find more images of it, as well as the rest of the super-cute home. Bright, Bold, and Beautiful Art Studio

I'm sure many of you have seen this brand new art studio and office space of the lovely Laura Trevey, one of the blogosphere's most talented artists! In addition to painting her beautiful watercolors (check out her Etsy store), Laura also maintains two blogs, one for her watercolors, and another titled Bright, Bold, and Beautiful (how can you resist that?!) Back to this great space though...Laura told me that House of Turquoise actually inspired her to paint the room Spring Mint by Benjamin Moore. I love it! I also love that she painted the pegboard the same color. Look at all her beautiful paintings! *sigh* See her painting Summer Breeze that she has displayed on a stand in the last photo? I actually just bought a print of that a couple weeks ago and can't wait to have it displayed in my own home...the colors are breathtaking! For more info on Laura's studio, head over here! Divine Bathrooms

If there's one thing I miss about having a tv, it's HGTV. I wasn't as hooked on it as some people, but I always stopped when Divine Design with Candice Olson was on. Her transformations always astounded me. She designed both of these bathrooms above, either of which I'd kill to have in my own home! Do you guys watch the show??

Shangri-La

I am completely captivated by Shangri-La, the newest collection from Thibaut. The Jakarta printed fabric and Ivana wallpaper in the first two images...seriously...stunning. I wish I could transport myself into that bedroom, plop down on one of those comfy beds and just take it all in. Absolute beauty there, folks.

Holly Springs Home

This beautiful home in Holly Springs, NC belongs to my reader Jessica C. Lucky for us, it's currently for sale!! How gorgeous is that family room?! Those amazing ceilings with all the light flowing in, the sunny breakfast room, the gorgeous hardwood floors...yeah, I could live with that! I sure hope whoever buys it keeps all that pretty wall color (Rainwashed-6211 by Sherwin Williams)! For lots more photos of the rest of the home and all the details, head over here. Summer lovin'!

I am feeling the summer vibe big time today! That first image completely drew me in when I saw it on photographer Kip Dawkins website. It's just so...me. The colors are FABULOUS. Man-oh-man do I love all of that bright and breezy fabric! And rightly so...the image is actually an ad for Trina Turk's line of indoor/outdoor fabric for Schumacher. And I thank Brabourne Farm for finding the middle image from the portfolio of photographer Russell Sadur. Long live turquoise and lime green!

Liz Williams

I recently learned by way of Blueprint Bliss that designer Liz Williams has a new website. I've shared images from the beautiful Ansley Park home she designed, so it was a lot of fun to go through her portfolio and see some of her other amazing work. I can't even pick a favorite here, but that top one with the bursts of pink is FAB-U-LOUS!

Wish me luck because I'm going camping up by Lake Superior this weekend. The low tonight is only 25! Call me crazy (and really ready for summer). I hope you all have a fun, WARM weekend wherever you are!
